"Shaping Skilled Professionals for a Healthier Tomorrow."

The PSRD Hospital in Lahore, a trail-blazing institution established in 1957, offers an outstanding clinical learning environment for students of rehabilitation sciences. It houses a full-service rehabilitation center including a 100+ bed orthopedic hospital, modern physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy departments, and a dedicated orthotics & prosthetics workshop that fabricates bespoke assistive devices with sufficient patient inflow all over Pakistan.

The institution holds physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech-therapy services all under one roof which makes it a rich clinical playground for students. While orthopedic OPD receives 200+ patients every day. The Physiotherapy department receives 50+ patients every day. The Occupational Therapy & Speech Therapy Centre collectively treated 100 patients across those two departments, meaning students get exposure to up-to-date practice with diverse patient influx. The institution registers about 22,500 patients per year.

PSRD actively invests in the professional growth of its students through specialized certifications and hands-on training programs. Regular workshops, seminars, and certification courses including 6 month paid house-job to bridge academic learning with real-world practice. This seamless integration of academia, skill training, and clinical exposure empowers PSRD students to become confident, job-ready rehabilitation professionals.

At PSRD, extracurricular activities are viewed as an essential part of holistic student development. Students engage in sports, cultural events, awareness campaigns, and community service, fostering teamwork, leadership, and empathy. These experiences not only build confidence and interpersonal skills but also reflect PSRD’s mission to nurture well-rounded rehabilitation professionals who contribute actively to society beyond academics.
